Our goal is to help people experience the power of nature with products that are free from harsh chemicals, and designed to preserve the health and vitality of the skin and enhance overall beauty. About the Founder, Leticia Long
Leticia Long’s journey in the beauty industry is one of passion, dedication, and a relentless drive to make a positive impact. Inspired by her beautiful mother, Eloise Long, Leticia developed a deep appreciation for self-care and beauty at an early age.
After high school, she launched her career as a makeup artist for Fashion Fair Cosmetics, one of the leading Black skincare and beauty brands in America. Determined to expand her expertise, Leticia became a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician, specializing in hair extensions and hair replacement. In 2003, she took a leap of faith and opened her first beauty business, later expanding to include a full-service beauty brand. In 2006, she launched Leticia Long Cosmetics, marking another milestone in her career.
In 2020, Leticia opened Inches Away Now and Dojusi Salon, but unfortunately, due to the pandemic, she was forced to close both locations. That same year, she experienced the devastating loss of her mother, leading her into a period of reflection and healing. However, instead of allowing adversity to define her, Leticia used it as fuel for something greater.
With over 25 years of experience working with top-tier beauty companies, extensive education in skincare and haircare, and a deep desire to redefine the industry, Leticia founded Purelistic Health and Beauty. Her mission was to create a brand that prioritizes clean, effective, and natural beauty solutions while empowering people to embrace self-care.
In 2023, she opened her first store at Chandler Fashion Center, Arizona, followed by two additional locations in Chandler. Leticia’s expertise and impact have earned her media recognition on ABC 15 Sonoran Living and STN Studios, expanding her influence beyond local recognition.
As she continues to grow Purelistic Health and Beauty into a global brand, Leticia remains committed to transforming the beauty industry through innovation, education, and self-care.
